Altho it is funny to see a dog head sticking out of a moving car window , with his big ears, tongue and jowells flapping in the oncoming breeze, there are many small risks at play:
- Debris in the form of bugs and small pebbles can injure his eyes.
- He is also at risk of jumping out of the vehicle.
- Closing automatic car windows while your dog is hanging his head out of the car window can cause him or her serious harm.
- Driving too closely to oncoming vehicles, poles, signs, or anything else, can result in a grizzly situation, especially in larger dogs with long necks.
Altho the purpose of this article is not to scare you, it is intended to at least make you aware of potential hazards that lurk around every turn for your best friend, who ultimately trusts you to help care for him.
