Dogs and Car Windows
Altho I admit it is funny to see a dog’s head hanging out of a car window with his big tongue, ears, and jowells flapping in the oncoming breeze, it also poses some potential and un-thought of risks:
- Bugs, small pebbles and other debris can seriously injure his eyes
- The possibility of jumping out of the vehicle, moving or unmoving
- Accidentally closing automatic car windows while your dog is hanging his head out of the window
- Driving too closely to oncoming traffic, poles, street signs, and other side-of-the-road obstacles
Altho the purpose of this article is not to scare you, it’s intent is to help you see unforseen obstacles that lurk around every corner for our favorite friend, who ultimately trusts in you for his safety.
