Although there are many different techniques out there for potty training your new puppy, but to me, one really sticks out.
I love teaching the ‘ring the bell’ to go out to potty to my puppies. It’s fairly easy and it seems that the puppies love it.
It especially comes in handy when traveling and potty places are a little different. Start with young puppies and fasten a string with a bell around the door knob. Each time the puppie passes through that door to go outside for a potty, touch their muzzle to the bell and make a little noise with it, say “time to go out”, and take them out. After a short time they will go to the bell and touch it to let you know it is potty time.
Some puppies are faster learners than others’ but it should work on all of your pups. It has been successful with my Labradors.
