Puppy Blog of Names, Breeds and More.

When crate training it’s a good idea to remember that, although every dog needs his own space, dogs are pack animals. Because of this they have a strong instinct and desire to be near the other members of their family, regardless if it’s a canine member or a human family member.

Briard Dog Breed
The Briard is a large breed of dog, one of many herding breeds.
Appearance
The Briard can be any of several different solid colors or lighter colors with darker or light ears and face. Briards stand 22 to 27 inches at the withers. Ear cropping has been common in the breed, although more breeders are leaving the ears in their natural state since ear cropping is becoming illegal in most European countries, including the Briard’s land of origin, France. Their long coat requires an extensive amount of grooming.

Rabies is point blankly, a deadly disease in which there is no known cure for. Puppy dogs that are diagnosed with rabies usually only have a few days to live, with the longest being about 14 days.
There are basically two forms of rabies that may appear in dogs – “dumb rabies” and “furious rabies” (both which are not technical terms).
