Tips for Trimming Your Dog’s Nails
Inevitably most puppy dogs will require their nails to be trimmed. If left undone the result can be sores, bleeding, and long curly unsightly nails on their paws.
Clipping your puppy dog’s nails can be a daunting task and is something that is much easier when done consistently and started from a young age. Your pup will be accustomed to the sensation of getting her nails clipped and will not be frightened by it.
However, if your dog is older or still resistant, you can try using a nail grinder, which works much like a sander for toe nails. Some dogs may be less resistant to shortening their nails in this manner.
Always trim your doggies’ toes when he/she is relaxed and not hungry. It may also help to have someone assist holding them. Try offering her a treat or chew toy during the trimming process.
If you simply do not have success clipping their nails, or continuously hurt them, your other option is to take him/her to a pet grooming salon where a professional will do it for you.

Thanks for the tip. Believe me, I needed it.
I just agreed to take the big step and move in with my girlfriend of 2 years.
The problem is that she owns and loves her dog very much, and I don’t particularly know anything about dogs.
However, I really want my new living arrangements with my girlfriend to work out.
To be honest, I am sought of uncomfortable around the dog and want to broaden my horizons, so to speak, on the subject, and smooth this whole matter out.
This is why I joined this forum.
I am interested in all kind of to dog information and tips.
