We all love that feeling we get after we have exercised. It is getting off the couch to go and exercise that is slowing us down. But just remember that feeling you get and think how your dog feels after they have had your attention for a full thirty to an hour time frame. They first are excited to have that bonding time with you and it is also really good for their health. It is a win win situation for all. Everyday life sets in and you don’t always have the time to go to the dog park or gym. Just think you can exercise with your furry friend anywhere. It is also a good stress reliever for you. I know when I get home I am excited to know that I will have that special time with my dog.
I wanted to share some tips on how to exercise indoors with your dog:
Not everybody has the luxury of a dog friendly park nearby, or a safe neighbourhood where they can walk their dog. However, dogs still need exercise. Because they are totally reliant on us to meet their needs, we have to somehow find a way to provide them with that exercise.
Exercise is important for your dog’s physical and mental well being. Playing and exercising together is great for your relationship. Even if you don’t have access to the great outdoors, make the effort to burn up your dog’s excess physical and mental energy and you’ll both be much happier.
