This is always an interesting topic to bring up. We all want our partner and our beloved pet to get along with each other and be lifelong friends. There are many reasons why your dog may be feeling a little uneasy around him or her. It is very important to make a slow transition and not rush your pet into being best friends with your partner. Overtime they should be able to be around each other without your partner fearing your dog. Dogs love attention so sometimes they feel as though their attention is being compromised by your partner and they are very bothered by this.
Finding out what is bothering and what to do about it is really important for your pet and partner to get along. Here are some tips in an article I wrote:

Is there a way around this? Do you have to find a new home for your dog, or, even worse, for your partner?

True indeed, when mom bring new puppy to our home, dad wasn’t that close with him nor giving much attention to this little guy. But when the time come that he has to be left with dad, things changed and now probably Jury and dad are closer than Jury and mom.
